About the company

Evergreen Bridal Studio launched in Guernsey in 2023 and shook up the wedding dress industry by offering more choice, modern styles and a special studio experience for brides.

Evergreen Bridal works with designers, bridal studios, charities and directly with brides to offer brand new with tags, unworn, ex-sample and preloved (in like new condition) wedding dresses. The business model means we can offer affordable prices whilst still giving a luxurious service to customers.

Since moving from a popular pop-up studio basis, the business moved into permanent premises near Port Grat, Guernsey in July 2023 and is growing fast.

The role

The Bridal Stylist will host private studio appointments, helping brides-to-be find their dress.

The role is perfect for someone looking for fun with flexible hours to earn some extra money whilst helping drive positive change. There is a real buzz from the appointments.

Your availability is decided upfront with no surprises and the online appointment calendars can be based around your schedule.

The nature of the role offers flexible hours and online appointment calendars can be based around your schedule. Availability would need to include 1x evening per week and 1x Sunday or Saturday morning per week. Bookings would then be made available on those chosen available days with sufficient notice of bookings to give you plenty of time to plan whether appointments are in the studio that day. Essentially is is a zero hours contract but with our studio fully booked with waiting lists, we can see lots of potential and the stylist can pop in as much availability as they wish.

There is no paid holiday leave but the successful candidate is welcome to take holiday when they like with prior notification in advance so that cover can be arranged.

About you

The Evergreen experience is comfortable, non-pressured and friendly. An appointment at the studio feels relaxed and fun. I’m looking for a friendly, confident person who can continue creating this environment.

An ability to deal with different people is essential and it is important that the person can read a room, read people and can adjust accordingly.

Someone who is experienced in customer service in a fashion environment or perhaps has alterations experience would be helpful. 

You must be over 18 years of age and hold a certificate or permit to work in Guernsey. A basic police check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and understand the customers’ wishes and adjust the selection of dresses and accessories to try accordingly as the appointment goes on.

• Make teas and coffees and pour bubbly for customers

• Help customers in and out of dresses

• Process payments on the till system ( full training will be given.
